The shelves should have full cured in 7 days but we’re still sticky a month later. I over applied our black Waterbased Precatalyzed Epoxy. Was there a coating on the floor? We’re they smooth/shiny if believed to be uncoated? Could a prior homeowner have used a clear coat or waterproofer on it?12 You might want to give it a try.Also if there was a previous coating on there it could be contributing to adhesion issues. It feels like an epoxy, and it's rated well for use around water & chemicals. I did a job last week using SherCrete and it worked well. Like anything, surface prep is key. 5 (Edited) Tread Plex seems good to me.
I am sorry you are having a bad experience with a great product. Most stores’ back room floors are painted with it. This dries rapidly to a tough, alkali-resistant finish which will withstand.Armorseal Treadplex is one of our best and easiest coatings to apply.
